Plans and billing
Prices and capacity on this page come directly from Bobbin’s own catalogue, the same source the pricing page and checkout read — nothing below is retyped by hand, so it cannot drift from what you are actually charged.
Every tier is the whole product: no feature gating, unlimited users. Tiers differ in monitored-project capacity, included investigations, and support only.
| Tier | Price | Projects | Included investigations | Daily cap | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bobbin Starter | $59/month | 1 monitored project | 60 a month | 6 a day | Email support |
| Bobbin Team | $199/month | Up to 5 monitored projects | 200 a month | 20 a day | Priority email / Slack Connect |
| Bobbin Scale | $449/month | Up to 15, then $35 each | 450 a month | 45 a day | Onboarding call + named contact |
Prices are in USD; there is no monthly/annual toggle.
Fair use
Section titled “Fair use”The daily cap
Section titled “The daily cap”Alongside the monthly figure, each tier carries a daily investigation cap — the backstop behind storm coalescing. Unlike the monthly figure, which is soft (two months over it gets you a conversation about the next tier, never a mid-incident cutoff), the daily cap is a hard limit: it exists so a single very noisy day cannot spend a month’s fair use by itself. It is set proportionally to the monthly figure, so it scales with your tier automatically.
Upgrading and downgrading
Section titled “Upgrading and downgrading”- Upgrading takes effect immediately, and is prorated — you are charged the difference for the remainder of the current billing period, not the full new price.
- Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep the higher tier’s capacity until the period you already paid for ends, then the new tier applies from the next one.
- Changing plan during a trial ends the trial immediately and starts billing at the new price. This is Stripe’s own behaviour once a plan change is requested through the customer portal, not something Bobbin layers on top — the console tells you this before you confirm a change while a trial is running, so it is never a surprise on Stripe’s own page.
Manage your plan, payment method and invoices from the console’s Usage page, which links to Stripe’s own customer portal — Bobbin does not build its own billing or invoice screens.
Lapsed subscriptions and the 30-day grace period
Section titled “Lapsed subscriptions and the 30-day grace period”If a trial ends unpaid or a card fails, your workspace does not lose anything immediately. For 30 days:
- Every connection — monitored projects, Slack, GitHub — is kept exactly as it was.
- Nothing is investigated during the window; the intake gate that decides whether an alert becomes an investigation requires an active plan.
- Home shows one banner explaining what happened and when, with Subscribe (your previous tier, pre-selected, no second trial), Change plan, and Leave.
Thirty days is the same bound Bobbin’s data processing agreement commits to for deleting your data after you leave — the grace period and the deletion bound are the same number for the same reason: if your data would be kept that long anyway, there is no reason to tear down your setup any sooner.
Questions this page does not answer
Section titled “Questions this page does not answer”What a specific subscription is currently paying, its next invoice date, or any coupon applied to it comes from Stripe live, through the console’s Usage page — never from this page or from the pricing page. If something in your account does not match what is written here, trust the console and tell us; this page describes the product, not your account.
